Georgetown Business Association Objectives

Our History
The Georgetown Business Association (GBA), established in 1976, is a non-profit membership organization committed to maintaining and improving the climate for conducting business in Georgetown. Members are offered opportunities to connect through events such as networking receptions and various outreach initiatives.
The GBA also advocates on behalf of Georgetown businesses and professionals by monitoring legislation from the DC city council, actions from the ANC Board and relevant government and community organizations. Leaders and members actively attend and speak at hearings while engaging political figures to achieve an optimal business environment in Georgetown.
The GBA has contributed mightily over the years. For instance, the Georgetown Business Association gave birth to both the Georgetown BID & Georgetown Main Street.
